What is Boot Camp?

This is a unique program designed and implemented by Tawnya L. Wright, DMFT(c), MEd, LMHC, This program is educational as well as therapeutic and contains an accountability component. 

There are currently no other known programs like this one available. This program takes a comprehensive view of the status and reason for the high conflict and then works to assist in removing barriers for communication between the co-parents.

  • 10-week course/ 2 hours per week
  • Three-way mediated texting with co-parents
  • Co-parent sessions
  • Children sessions if needed to determine the extent of the impact of high conflict on them.
  • You WILL NOT be in the same group as your co-parent
  • You WILL have weekly homework that is REQUIRED
  • 2 Co-parenting sessions with your co-parent REQUIRED
  • Participation or lack thereof will be reported to the court if you are involved in Family Court proceedings.
  • A release of information will be required with all parties including GAL and FCI if applicable.
  • You will remain in the same cohort (group) that you started with.
  • Only 1 EXCUSED absence will be allowed. As long as it is made up prior to week 10 you will still graduate.
  • A consultation is required prior to signing up for Co-parenting Bootcamp to ensure that you are a good candidate for this program.
